Bullpen Injury Updates

Yesterday, Pedro Feliciano played some catch for the first time in about two weeks and said he felt a slight pinch in his rotator cuff where his injury is located.  The doctor then checked out his shoulder and found some tightness.  It looks like he needs more rest and won’t be pitching for a while.  Boone Logan better be ready to step up.

To further this bad news, Luis Ayala will be heading to the 15-day disabled list with a strained lat.  A definite decision has not been made on who they will bring up.  Aside from popular belief, Andrew Brackman and Steve Garrison will not be up because they made starts last night and Mark Prior, Kevin Millwood, and Carlos Silva won’t either because they are all still pretty far from being MLB ready.  Hector Noesi, Triple A Scranton starter, will most likely get the call.  He is close to MLB ready and will fresh since he is supposed to make a start tomorrow.
