Cervelli Back; Molina To ScrantonPosted: April 29, 2011
The Yankees announced today that Francisco Cervelli has been activated from the disabled list for tonight’s game and Gustavo Molina has been optioned down to Triple A Scranton. Cervelli has been rehabbing down in Tampa and Scranton for about a week now and although he hasn’t been hitting too well down there, he and the team say he is ready and the foot that he fractured on a foul tip in Spring Training is all better now. We might see him start tomorrow since it will be an afternoon game after a night game. Either way, I can’t wait to see his energy back in the clubhouse.
