Pitching NewsPosted: May 13, 2011
With the Yankees using their call-up long man last night for 4.2 innings, they decided to re-call Hector Noesi and send down Buddy Carlyle. Hopefully, Noesi gets to pitch this time around. He’s good for 80-100 pitches, but I really hope they don’t need it.
In other news, Phil Hughes started his throwing program today, but it was a very short session. They are going to take it little by little with him to make sure they don’t exacerbate his shoulder and to make sure they get him back 100%.
