Yanks Call Up Lance Pendleton

Update (4:47pm): So I was right.  As it turns out, the corresponding move is Amaury Sanit being sent down to Triple A.  I don’t really understand why the Yanks need to long men out in their bullpen, but whatever, once Rafael Soriano get off the DL that should change.

Original (3:05pm): Via Lohud, the Yankees have re-called long man Lance Pendleton from Triple A Scranton.  In his first stint with the Bombers in 2011, Pendleton pitched 6.1 scoreless innings out of the pen in low-pressure situations.  There hasn’t been any word on a corresponding move, but I will keep you updated.  I would think that it would be Amaury Sanit who gets sent down, but who knows.
