First Place!

I was pretty busy last night as you can tell from the farm report and now this. But I do want to acknowledge the game because it is a big win. It was only the second time the Yankees beat the Red Sox this season, it extends their winning streak to eight games, and it puts them in first place by themselves. I gotta give a shout out to Boone Logan who struck out Adrian Gonzalez with the bases loaded to end the fifth to keep the game 2-0. The bombers would go on to take a 3-2 lead in the next half inning, a lead they would never relinquish. The entire bullpen itself did a very good job, including Rafael Soriano who pitched a scoreless seventh. Good game all around.
