Poll Results: Yanks Right To Stand PatPosted: August 8, 2011
The results are in and according to the results, the fans think that the Yankees were right not to make a move at the trade deadline. As much as they could have used another starter or another lefty in the bullpen, there was no fit on the market. There was no one on the market (besides Ubaldo really) that was an upgrade in the rotation. Hiroki Kuroda would have been a nice fit, but he wouldn’t have waived his no-trade clause. Brian Cashman was right not to make a move even though there was pressure coming from a lot of places. He kept his top prospects and he didn’t make a trade just for the sake of making a trade.
